The BLM GLO Records website provides access to original patents for land in the United States. There are many Quarles/Qualls land patents in various states listed on this site. To access these from the GLO Records Home Page, click on the Search Land Patents link in the green bar near the top. On the search form provided, select the state you would like to search from the pulldown menu. Then, type the surname your searching. Be sure to check all name varients since spelling errors are possible.
