Photo Caption: Emigrants Shown into Pens — All emigrants are invoiced on a bill of lading, comprising thirty persons. Each emigrant has a ticket, the number of which corresponds to that on the bill of lading, and also to a corresponding number of a pen, where they are held to await further examination.
