We plan to use this site for three main purposes:

Share research on the descendants of the three Vernon brothers who emigrated to Chester County PA – Thomas, Randall and Robert.

Learn more about the English ancestry of the family in Cheshire County, UK.

Archive the Vernon Vignettes – a publication of the Vernon Family Association of America that was published until 1982, discussing many branches of the Vernon family in the U.S. We have started to digitize the hardcopies, and will make them available at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~quakervernons/Vignettes/main.html .
