| Amy Smith | 1910 United States Federal Census | May 16, 1910 |
| Francis Amie Smith | Obituary | 1934 |
The 1900 census states that Edgar and Frances were married for 26 years. If this correct then they most likely got married between June 3, 1873 and June 2, 1874. The 1910 census entry for Edgar says that Edgar was married for 35 years in his present marriage. If this is correct then Edgar and Frances would have gotten married between April 27, 1874 and April 26, 1875. Putting this together would mean that they were most likely married between April 27, 1874 and June 2, 1874.
Note: Edgar is shown living with his parents and siblings.
William Smith age 40 lived in a log house in Otsego County where he lived all of his life. He was a native voter who owned land.
