Anna DRAEGER (John Draeger1) was born probably between January 10, 1868 and April 16, 1868 in Poland/Germany, and died Abt 1945. She married Charles FRIEDENBERG prob. bet. January 10, 1898 and January 8, 1899. He was born prob. bet. April 17, 1874 and January 9, 1875 in Germany, and died Abt 1945.
I do not have birth dates for Anna or Charles. The 1920 census taken on January 8th and 9th gives Anna's age as 51 and Charles age as 45. If these ages are correct then Anna's date of birth would be between January 10, 1868 and January 9, 1869 and Charles date of birth would be between January 10, 1874 and January 9, 1875. The 1930 census taken on April 16, 1930 gives Anna's age as 62 and Charles age as 55. If these ages are correct then Anna would have been born between April 17, 1867 and April 16, 1868 and Charles birth would be between April 17, 1874 and April 16, 1875. Taking all of this information together Anna was probably born sometime between January 10, 1868 and April 16, 1868 and Charles was probably born between April 17, 1874 and January 9, 1875.
I do not have a marriage date or location for Anna and Charles. I do know that the 1930 census states that Anna was 30 years old at the time of her first marriage and Charles was 23 years old at the time of his first marriage. Since Anna was 30 years old 22 years ago and Charles was 23 years old 22 years ago and they have a child that is 20 years old, I will assume that 30 year old Anna and 23 year old Charles got married 22 years ago and it was a first marriage for both of them. Since Anna could have been 30 years old any time between January 10, 1898 and April 15, 1899 and Charles could have been 23 years old anytime between April 17, 1997 and January 8, 1899, if the ages of their first marriage were correct and they were both only married once then the date of their marriage was most likely between January 10, 1898 and January 8, 1899.
I have not yet located them in the 1900 census. I will wait for the 1900 census to be indexed to try and find them.
I have not yet located them in the 1910 census. I will wait for the 1910 census to be indexed to try and find them.
