Violet Mabel, Richard Jones and children - click to enlarge VIOLET MABEL10 BOWMAN was born January 22, 1887 in West Flamboro, Ontario Canada1, and died May 12, 1923 in Guelph General Hospital. She married RICHARD FISHER JONES December 10, 1906 in Hespeler, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, son of JOHN JONES and ELIZABETH WEITHERAL. He was born June 15, 1887 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and died September 17, 1958. Notes for VIOLET MABEL BOWMAN: The death occurred this morning at the hospital of Mrs.R.Jones,20 Fergus St., her death occurring unexpectedly following the birth of a son. The deceased was born in Freelton,37 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Bowman. She was united in marriage to Mr. R. Jones, a well known resident of this city, some 17 years ago, been a resident of the city since then. She leaves to survive her loss, the sorrowing husband and a family of seven small children, Richard, Alice, Dorothy, John, Clayton, Audrey and Verna. A mother, six sisters and four brothers also survive, the later being Mrs. Harry Black, Guelph; Mrs. Ed. Cutten (Cutting), Hamilton; Mrs. Gordon MacDonald, Brantford; Mrs. H. Leitch, Oshawa; Mrs. W. Black, Muskoka; William Bowman, Hespeler; John, Kitchener; Albert, Hespeler; and Andrew, Muskoka. To these, and especially the sorrowing husband left with the responsibility of caring for seven small children, the heartfelt sympathy of a host of friends and aquaintances will go forth. The late Mrs. Jones was highly esteemed by all who knew her and was a devoted wife and mother. He was born September 1911, and died September 18, 1982 in Parry Sound, Ontario. Notes for JAMES ALBERT BEYNON: JAMES (JIM) BEYNON James (Jim) Beynon died at Parry Sound General Hospital on Saturday September 18, 1982, age 71 years. Member of Branch 117, Royal Canadian Legion. Beloved husband of Alice Jones and dear father of Kathy, Mrs. Frank Farlow and Mrs. Pat Phillips both of Burlington. Loving grandfather of James Phillips and Cory Lynn Farlow. Loved son of the late Alexander (Sandy) Beynon and Rosa Beynon and dear brother of Audry { Mrs. Joe Gilchrist} of Parry Sound; June (Mrs. Karl Zvejnieks) of Toronto and the late Ken, Ted and Gerald. Rested in the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James St., Parry Sound. Services in the Chapel on Monday, Sept 20th, at 1:30 pm. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Parry Sound.
