The Baumans of Puslinch Fehrenbach Origins Descendents of John Bauman and Mary Ann Fehrenbach
JOHN was born March 19, 1833 in Puslinch, Ontario, Canada1, and died December 27, 1915 in Formosa, Ontario2. He married MARY ANN FEHRENBACH June 10, 1856 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada3, daughter of JACOB FEHRENBACH and CATHERINE WAUS. She was born Abt. 1839 in Bavaria , Germany, and died April 03, 1925 in Formosa, Ontario4, and at the time of their marriage, her parents were living in Brant Co.
At the time of John's birth, the Bauman's were living on the Lot #33,Concession #8 which is Brock Rd., (Highway#6) in Puslinch. Catherine Waus (Wassel?) was living with John Bowman and Mary Fehrenbach in 1871 in Bruce County District 27, Sub-Division DNo.3. The census states that she is a widow. John was a witness to the marriage of Michael Fehrenbach,
Mary's brother, to Theresa Gross on April 7, 1864. At the time, he was living in
Culross Township on Lot 30 Con. A. The informant at John Bauman's death was Mary Hennbecker (Heimbecker) of Formosa, Ontario. At the time of death John was a married retired farmer. He died of old age. The attending Doctor was Dr. McCue of Formosa. Child of JOHN BAUMAN and MARY FEHRENBACH is:
