My motive for doing this research was to trace the lines involved back in time. After that, I have concentrated my efforts on the years between their arrival in Canada and about 1900. I have made no serious attempt to include everyone ever born to these lines, although I will be glad to add them. It is entirely probable that neither the site nor the research will ever be complete!

This section is as it sounds...my direct line back from Joseph Bauman and Josepha (Spitz) Wegmann, who were The Pioneering Generation". It includes various related lines back through time to as early 1600.
