Armstrong Family Queries
Subject: Wade Hampton Armstrong, TX, ??? - I have went to so many web sites and I can't find a thing on my father. Wade Hampton Armstrong. I do not know much about his family I don't even know my grandfathers frist name, I thank my grandmothers first name is Lou. All I am trying to do is find out more about my fathers family, I don't know were they came from but I do know they lived in San Antonio, Tx country of Bexar , My father was in the marines and was in the war, and he married my mother Ida p. Saunders I think in 1920 here in S.A. I know he had two brothers Allen , and George. If you find out any thing I would be so pleased.

Subject: Robert Armstrong and Jane Young Armstrong - I just read your surname list in the roots surname site. I am looking for information about my 3rd great grandparents - Robert Armstrong and Jane Young Armstrong. Robert was born c 1760 probably somewhere on the east coast (Va or the Carolinas??) and died in 1814 in Washington County in southern Indiana. Jane Young was born c 1769 probably somewhere on the east coast and died in 1824 in Washington County in southern Indiana. On their way from the coast to Indiana they lived for awhile in KY and possibly TN. I have a fairly complete list of Robert and Jane's descendants to share but have nothing of their roots. Subject: Armstrong surname - Hi Tom, I visited your site today and was delighted to find the Armstrong info you have posted. I am currently searching for parallel lines for my family history. I have been interested in Genealogy for several years and have quite an extensive tree going up to Scotland. Now I am wanting to go out to other branches.
I have also taken an interst in starting an Armstrong Family webring. It was nice to see the Steele ring on your site. Now I know I am not the only one interested in this sort of thing.
