They have a marriage bond in Granville County NC in 1797, and it seems everyone indicates that they moved to York County SC by the 1810 census. However, there is a Nathaniel Thomasson in Granville County in 1810, as well. So my question for you.....what source can you point me towards to identify the York County SC Nathaniel as the husband of Elizabeth Cottrell? I'm working on the family of Elizabeth Cottrell, daughter of Thomas Cottrell who died in Granville County in 1796 and descend through her brother Samuel Cottrell.
