Thanks so much for your reply. I found Mary bn 1741, but the dates of her father Henry, didn't fit. Her great grandfather's bn date looked okay, but her grandfather and father were born after her?  I know this happens. Had a mother 20 yrs younger than her daughter in my son-in-law's family. So am going to work with these people and see if I can find where the error was made. The ELLIS lines have been researched by researchers that were very through in their work. So feel that Mary's info is correct and they had her father as Henry Quinn, but no other info. Database Name: 1790 United States Federal Census

Do you have more information about this person that you could share with me?

I am trying to find information about Henry QUINN father of Mary QUINN wife of John ELLIS. Mary born 1741 York, SC -died 1810 York, SC I am hoping that your Hugh is part of this family.
