Note: [REF:#004] Writes: My sister and I just returned from Gadsden, [Etowah] Alabama. We found a couple of Sarratt cousins and were told of Mrs. Pluma E. (Sarratt) Tommie 95 years old and still alive. At the present time she has penumonia and also has had a pace maker put in. She is a grand daughter of Simon Peter Sarratt. She said is he buried in the Yellow Creek Cemetery, Leesburg (Etowah County), Alabama. We had visited the cemetery eariler this year and did not find a marker for him, but of course that does not mean he is not there. |
