The following is the list of the 50 States with some important Census
information, such as creation of Territory, Statehood, first
available Census, and a list of what Census are missing.

Co. VA.; During time of early
settlement it was called Kentucky
Co., VA. (c1775-76) In 1776 it
was divided into 3 Counties -
Fayette, Jefferson and Lincoln
Counties; It was further divided
into 9 counties in 1790. Was also
included in the "Transylvania"
Purchase. No Census for 1790 &
1800, Tax list have been substituted.
