State of Tennessee Robertson County
I William Moore now in health and of Sound mind and memory and calling to mind that it is once appointed for all men to die do make this my last will and testament.  First I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the dust from whence it came, and as to my worldly goods, which it has pleased God to bless me with I desire to be disposed of as follows ------ First, after all my just debts is paid I lend to my beloved wife Betsy Moore the tract of land which I have bought

of a certain Thomas Baird in Robertson County and West Tennessee together with one third part of all the negroes and other personal property which I may possess at my death during her natural life and all the residue of my Estate both real and personal I desire to be divided into six Equal parts and that Nancy G. Richards and Mary Stith Richards Receive from my Executrix and Executor and one sixth part thereof and to be equally divided between them and then that Francis Durett or his lawful heirs Receive one sixth part thereof.  Then after Thomas Faulks pays to me or to my Estate the sum of two hundred and fifty Dollars agreeable to his bond to me that then I give and bequeath to my grand Daughter, Poly D. Faulks one third part of an equal Division as above and the other two thirds parts of the one sixth part.  I lend to my Daughter, Penelope Faulks during her natural life and at her death to be equally divided between her three living heirs.  I then give and bequeath to my Daughter Matilda Moore one sixth part as above - Then I give and bequeath to my Daughter Lucy Moore one sixth part with this reserve that Lucy pay to Matilda one half of the value of her the said Lucys Lots in East Melton?.  Then I give and bequeath to my son William D. Moore his one sixth part as above and at the Death of my beloved wife Betsey J. Moore I give and bequeath to my son William D. Moore all that tract of land which I bought of the above named Thomas Beard and all

of his one third part as above willed by love to her during her life.  It is my Desire that it then be divided into six equal parts and Divided amongst all the Legatees in proportion to the above named Dividends - Lastly I constitute nominate and appoint my beloved wife Betsey J. Moore and my son William D. Moore my Executrix and Executor to this my last will and Testament Declaring it to be my last will and Testament utterly Revoking all other wills and Testaments by me heretofore made.  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this sixth day of August one Thousand eight hundred and twenty
