I Mary D. Vaughan, do make and publish this as my last Will and Testament.

First. I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or that may first come into the hands of my Executor.

Secondly. I give and bequeath to my son William H. Vaughan, and the heirs of my daughter Mary Jane Perdue, the remainder of my realty, having given by deed of gift that part of my land that I desired them to have to wit; my daughter L. E. Ventress, Elly Ann, Ryon, and the heirs of my son James H. Vaughan.

Lastly. I do appoint as my Executor: N. D. Brazier.

In witness whereof I do this my will, set my hand & seal this the 5th day of August 1882. Mary D. (her mark) Vaughan

Signed sealed and published in our presence and we have subscribed our names hereto in the presence of Testator this the 5 day of August 1882.

The last Will and Testament of Mary D. Vaughan, deceased was this day presented in open Court for probate and was duly proven by the oath of W. T. Ventrees, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto which is received by the Court and ordered to be recorded.
