I J. H. Franklin of the County of Sumner State of Tennessee do make and publish this my last will and testament.

I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Eliza L. Franklin, all my Estate real and personal after the payment of my just debts conditioned that if the said Eliza L. Franklin shall die intestate I direct that the remainder Estate at her death shall be kept intact until my youngest daughter arrives at the age of Twenty one years.  I appoint said Eliza L. Franklin Executrix of this my will without bond as witness my hand this May 28th 1883.

The last will and testament of J. H. Franklin dec'd was presented in open court for probate and was duly proven by the oath of T. O. Harris one of the subsribing witnesses thereto: which is received by the court and ordered to be recorded.  Thereupon came into open Court Eliza L. Franklin Executrix named in the will and accepted the execution of the same, no bond being required in the will she was duly qualitified and it was further ordered that letters of Executorship be issued to her.
