Know all men by these presents that I Jemima B. Hodges of the County of Sumner & State of Tennessee being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind & memory, do make this my last Will & Testament in manner & form as follows to wit: I give & bequeath to my five daughters viz. Polly Alderson, Elizabeth Hodges, Sarah N. Hodges, Melinda L. Hodges & Jemima Hodges all that tract of land situated lying & being in said county of Sumner, near James Bracken, known by the Tatum Tract containing sixty-four acres more or less to (Dark spot on copy.) be equally divided among them. (Dark spot.) This 11th day of November 1833.

State of Tennessee, Sumner County Court November Term 1833 - The nuncupative will of Jemima B. Hodges dec'd, was produced in court & duly proved agreeable to law by the oath of Robert Brown & Samuel Cochran the subscribers thereto & ordered to be recorded.
