I Isaac Short do make and publish this my last will and Testament and hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made. First I direct that my funeral expenses and my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of my monies that I may dispossessed of as may first come into the hands of my Executors.  Secondly I direct that my tract of land upon which I now reside containing one hundred Acres be sold on one and two years Credit and the balance of my property not otherwise appropriated sold on a credit of twelve months and the ____ appropriated as herein after specified.  First I give and bequeath to my daughter Anny Right forty two dollars she having been advanced fifty eight dollars.  Secondly I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Austin eighty dollars she haveing been advanced twenty dollars.  Thirdly I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Gilbert's  heirs Isabel? Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Gilbert fifty dollars each.  Fourthly the balance of the money that may be on hand I give and bequeath to my three single daughters Sarah, Susan, and Martha Ann Short to be equally divided among them.  Fifthly to my three sons James, Drury, and Isaac Martin Short I have already advanced to them a ______ to make them equal with the balance of my heirs, Sixthly I further give and bequeath to my three Single Daughters Sarah, Susan, and Martha Ann Short all my household and kitchen furniture to be equally divided among them and if there is not enough money on hand of the above _____ to make my three single daughters one hundred dollars each, I desire that each one of the heirs except Mary Gilbert, shall pay them an amount out of their portion to make them one hundred dollars each, Lastly I do nominate and appoint my Son Drury Short my Executor in Witness whereof to this my will set my hand Seal this 29th day of July 1854.
