I John B. Howard, Wish, Charles Grimm to Administer on my estate. I want him to sell my real Estate private or public as he may think will be to the best interest to my wife and children upon such credit as he may think best, during from one to ten years. It is also my wish that when my Negroes property is divided that my Negro Hanned? be valued to my wife Margaret. I also wish my Administrator Charles Grimm to sell my property privately that he may think best. John B. Howard

State of Tennessee Sumner County Court February Term 1842 - A paper writing purporting to be the disposition of John B. Howard property was produced in Court for probate and was duly proved by the oaths of James Howard and F. Watkins subscribing witnesses thereto which is ordered to be recorded.
