 I, William L. Green of the County of Sumner and State of Tennessee, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others in manner and form following, Viz:

1st. I will and bequeath to my beloved sister Sophia D. Bell one hundred and fifty dollars and to Thomas H. Bell my double barrel shot gun. I also will and bequeath to Charles Clark my bay mare. I also will that after my funeral expensives are paid that the balance of my effects be equally divided between my brothers Reubin D. Green, dec'd, family, Edward L. Green and my sisters Sarah Yantes, Elizabeth D. Bledsoe, Sophia D. Bell, and Margaret V. Gordon.

I hereby nominate and appoint Thomas H. Bell and William W. Douglass my executors to this my last Will and Testament in Testimony where of I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 11th day of June Eighteen Hundred & fifty. Wm. L. Green (Seal)

State of Tennessee, Sumner County Court July Term 1850 - The last Will and Testament of Wm. L. Green dec'd was this day produced in open court for probate and was duly proved by the oaths of F. Watkins & B. G. Douglass subscribing witnesses thereto which is ordered by the court to be recorded and thereupon Thos. H. Bell & Wm. W. Douglass the Executors therein named appeared in open court together with C. I. Gaines and B. E. Douglass their securities entered unto and acknowledged their bond to the state of Tennessee in the penal sum of Three Thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs and took the oath of Executors prescribed by law.
