Daniel T. Northam, 1881

I, Daniel T. Northam, of the state and county above written, being of sound mind and memory, but considering the uncertainity of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say:
First - That my executors, ( hereinafter named ) shall provide for my body a decent burial, suitable to my rank and station in life, and pay all funeral expenses, together with my just debts, howsoever and to whomsoever owing, out of the moneys that may first come into their hands as a part or parcel of my estate.

Second I, give, devise, and bequeath, unto my beloved wife, Sarah Ann Northam, her heir's and assign's forever, all my real estate, upon which I now live, and devised to me in fee simple, by my father, George Northam, in his last Will and Testament, after the termination of the life estate, of my Mother Lucinda Northam therein and all my personal proprety, of what nature or kind soever, and whensoever the same shall be at the time of my death.

And lastly, I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my wife, Sarah Ann Northam and James Northam Jr, son of my brother George W. Northam,  Executrix and Executor of this, my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all and every other Will or wills at any time heretofore made by me, and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof, I the said Daniel T. Northam, do hereinto set my hand and Seal, this 9th day of April AD 1881.

The foregoing paper writing and every part thereof is adjudged to be and contain the last Will and testament of D.T. Northam deceased and the same is ordered to be recorded and filed.
