I, Andrew Herschel Short, of Portland, Sumner County, Tennessee, being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby make, publish and declare this as and for my last will and testament, revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time heretofore made.
It is my will and desire and I so direct that my entire estate be converted into money by my executor hereinafter mentioned and named, and that all my just debts be paid by my executor, including funeral expenses, as early as practicable and the balance of said estate be turned over by my executor to guardian for my two children hereinafter named.
I will and bequeath my entire estate after the payments of my debts to my two children, Andrew Paul Short and Charles Robert Short, share and to share alike.
I hereby nominate and appoint C. W. Short to act as guardian for my said children and direct that he take the estate so turned over to him by my executor and that he keep same invested so as to produce as much income as possible for the maintenance and support of my said children and he is also hereby authorized to use a portion or all the corpus of said estate for the maintenance, support and education of said children before they are twenty one years of age if necessary.
I hereby nominate and appoint R. W. Enders, as executor of this my last will and testament with full power to sell any and all real estate of which I may be seized and possessed, either at public or private sale as he may deem best and I hereby full empower my said executor to make title to said real estate to the purchaser by proper conveyance as full and completely as I myself could do.

WILL OF ANDREW HERSCHEL SHORT, DECEASED.
BE IT REMEMBERED that on this the 28th, day of April, 1937, before the Hon. J. W. McCormack, Chairman of the
County Court of Sumner County, Tennessee, R. W. Enders, the Executor named therein, produced in open Court a type-written paper purporting to be the last will and testament of Andrew Herschel Short, deceased, bearing date of September 15th, 1927, having the name of Andrew Herschel Short, signed thereto, and being subscribed by E. D. Brooks and J. W. Brackin as attesting witnesses, and moved the Court that the same be admitted to probate and record as the last will and testament of the said Andrew Herschel Short, deceased.
And it appearing from the testimony of the said E. D. Brooks and J. W. Brackin the attesting witnesses thereto that said paper writing was written in the life time of the said Andrew Herschel Short and signed by him and subscribed in his presence and at his request by the said E. D. Brooks and J. W. Brackin as attesting witnesses, and that said instrument was executed by the said Andrew Herschel Short on the day it bears date as and for his last will and testament and that he was at the time of sound mind and disposing memory and was more than twenty one years of age.
And it furthur appearing to the Court that the said Andrew Herschel Short lately died in Sumner County, Tennessee, and that his usual place of residence at the time of his death was in said County, it is so adjudged.
And it is adjudged and declared by the Court that said instrument is the true, whole and last will and testament of the said Andrew Herschel Short deceased, and the same is hereby admitted to probate as such and the clerk is directed to file and record the same.
