Mr. Clarence Smart

Dearest Cousin,
Guess you will be somewhat surprised to hear from me but I hope it will be a plesant surprise.  How are all of you folks?  I am not very well today.
How was old brush with you last Sunday.  I wanted to come so bad but I had company all last week and couldn't come.  Oh! say Clarence if you come down here the first Saturday evening, you get a buggy, if you can without any trouble and come and carry Gracie Warren to the valley Sunday, I guess if nothing happens I'll go.  I'm sure you'll have a good time.  You ans. just as soon as you get this and let me know what you can do so I can tell her or you can write to Grace and make the date but don't let her know that I told you to do this for she said she wished you would come in buggy and we could get up a swap going to church but said not tell you she said so.  You know Clyde Lane usually carries her.  And if you come you bring me another picture for Gracie took my other one.  Well now you be sure to come and come in buggy if you can so.  Send me a card right away.
Give love to all and a large share for yourself.
As ever your cousin,
Ida Belle
P.S.  Tell Mr. Parks hello and that I am very anxious to see him.
