Harriett Bennetta Short was the dau of Isaac Martin Short and Jennetty White. She married John Shackleford in Sumner County, TN. on 25 December 1873. Harriet is buried in the Farmer Cemetery, Simpson Co., KY. Her tombstone lists her birthdate as 11 July 1851 but no death date is given. John Shackleford is buried nearby, 11 January 1855 - 19 October 1897.
