Ruby M. Griffin was the dau of Stephen M. Griffin and Idella Latimer. She was the granddaughter of Jane Catherine Short and James White Griffin. She married Roy L. Vantrease in Sumner County on 30 March 1929 (Marriage Index). They divorced before 1941.
