Pictured left to right:  Leonard D. Short, Archie Lee Short, Luther Vernon Short, Sr., Nannie Roberts Short, and Lillie M. Short.  Nannie Roberts was the 2nd wife of Lee Short.  The children's mother, Ella Birdwell, died in 1909.
