Cherry Mound Lodge #227

The Cherry Mound Lodge, Cottontown, TN., was chartered in 1853 and is celebrating it's 150th year now in 2003. Benjamin Roney was the first Worshipful Master. The lodge was located upstairs and the bottom floor was rented for a time as a warehouse, a store, and later used as living quarters. It was located on the old Louisville & Nashville Turnpike known today as 31W. For more information (and to view a photo of the present lodge building) visit the Cherry Mound Lodge website.
