Portland, Oct. 5. - W. S. Woodcock, a highly respected citizen of this community, died suddenly on September 28th, at Gamaliel, Ky., aged 68. Mr. Woodcock had been gone from home about ten days and when he retired for the night was feeling in his usual good way. He died sometimes during the night and it was not discovered until he was called in the morning.
