FARMER IS KILLED

Robertson Countian's neck Broken in Fall From Truck

Springfield, Tenn. Oct 4

James (Bud) Summerville, 46 years old Robertson County farmer, was killed instantly this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock when he fell from a truck on the road, four miles north of Cross Plains in the eastern section of this county.

Discovering that the gate of the truck was about to fall, Summerville walked to the rear of the machine. When he started to fasten the gate he lost his balance and fell. His neck was broken when his head struck the road.

Surviving are his wife Mrs. Nera Summerville and a daughter, Miss Ruby Summerville.
