Henry Cassell from William Perry, April 4th 1812

This Indenture made this the Eleventh day of February in the year of our Lord, one thousand Eight hundred and twelve between William Perry of the county of Robertson and State of Tennessee of the one part & Henry Cassell of the county & state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me in hand paid by the said Henry Cassell the receipt and payment whereof is here by acknowledged hath granted sold released and confirmed and by these present doth grant bargain sell release and confirm to the said Henry Cassell his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of Land containing one hundred acres lying in the county of Robertson & State of Tennessee Beginning at a Black Oak McDonall's corner running West seventy seven poles and two third to a post a post oak; thence South fifty four poles to William Benson's corner on a Black Oak the same course with his line in all two hundred and sixty poles to a Hickory; thence East seventy seven poles & two thirds to a post John Huey's corner; thence North two hundred and six poles to the beginning. To have and hold the above mentioned Land & premises & appurtenances with all and singular the benefits thereof belonging to the only use of him the said Henry Cassell his heirs and assigns forever & the said William Perry for himself his heirs assigns & administrators do warrant and forever defend the legal right and title of the above mentioned Land unto said Henry Cassell him his heirs & assigns forever and the said William Perry do warrant & forever defend the legal right & title of the Land against all and every person lawfully claiming & the said Perry do bind himself his heirs and assigns to warrant the said Land to the said Cassell his heirs & assigns forever.
