I do hereby give transfer and convey to Jacob Beason a certain piece or parcel of land in Sumner County Tennessee District No. 20 containing by estimation forty seven acres more or less bounded as follows. To wit Beginning twenty seven poles south of Wm Nowlins south west corner on a stake west one hundred thirty poles to a stake thence north fifty eight poles to a stake in Silas Fulgums south boundary line thence west ten poles to said Fulgums north east corner of a fifty acre tract in a Black Oak thence south of said Fulgums south east corner of said fifty acre tract thence east twenty three poles to a black Oak D. E. McKendrees north west corner thence ____ east one hundred and forty four poles to a stake thence north sixty seven poles to a stake in Wm. Nowlins south boundary line thence west twenty six poles to a black oak Wm. Nowlins south west corner thence twenty seven poles south to the beginning. To have & to hold the same to the said Jacob Beason his heirs assigns forever. I covenant for myself my heirs to warrant and defend the title to the said tract or parcel of land to the said Jacob Beason his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever Given under my hand & seal this 13th day of December 1842.
