W. F. R. Hamilton To Amanda Hamilton

To all whom it may concern......Know Ye, that I, W. F. R. Hamilton of the County of Sumner and State of Tennessee being in full health and as an evidence of the love and affection I entertain for my wife Amanda Hamilton do this day give transfer and convey hereby to her and her children all the right title claim and interest I have or may have in a certain Negro girl Mary, bequeathed to my mother Jane Hutchison, dec'd, by my Aunt Mary D. Frazor by will the possession of said Negro girl to remain with my Aunt Sarah Frazor during her natural life. I also give my wife Amanda as aforesaid all my interest in fifty acres of land (more or less) willed to my mother by my Aunt Mary D., as aforesaid, to have and to hold the same for the benefit of my aforesaid wife Amanda Hamilton and her children forever given under my hand this January the 1st 1861. State of Tennessee , Sumner County - Personally appeared before me John L. Bugg, Clerk of the County Court of said County, W. F. R. Hamilton the donor with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he presented the foregoing Deed of Gift for the purposes therein contained.

Received for registration at 1 & 1/2 o'clock p. m. 20th January 1861. Thomas Donoho, Dep. Reg.

State of Tennessee, Sumner County - I, R. D. Moore, Register for said County certify that the foregoing Deed of Gift and Probate are duly registered and examined at my office in Bill Book M, page 107. This 2nd day of February AD 1861. R. D. Moore, Reg. S. County, By Thomas Donoho, Dep. Regr.
