W. W. Douglass To Richard Nuckles, 1876 - Deed of Gift

I Wm. W. Douglass have this day sold and do hereby convey to Richard Nuckles for the sum of  one thousand dollars a tract of land in the state of Tennessee Sumner County and District No. 8 containing by estimation fifty acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake in the road running North 87 1/2 degrees East 40 poles to a stake; thence South 2 degrees West 13 poles to a stake; thence North 87 1/2 degrees East 75 poles to a stake; thence North 59 6/10 poles to a stake South 85 degrees West 59 poles to a stake; thence North 40 3/4 degrees West 30 6/10 poles to a stake; thence South 88 degrees West 33 2/10 poles to a stake near the center of the road; thence South 2 degrees West 70 6/10 poles to the beginning containing by estimation 50 acres. State of Tennessee, Sumner County - Personally appeared before me Jesse Cage, Clerk of the County Court of said county Wm. W. Douglass the bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the foregoing instrument for the purposes therein contained and witness my hand at office this 26th day of December 1876.
