Know all men by those presents that I Austin Johnson of the County of Sumner and State of Tennessee in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars loned to me by the said Richard Johnson as Guardian for the said Austin Johnson Children to wit:  Martha, Richard & Mary the receipt I do hereby acknowledge hath given granted bargained Sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain & sell & convey unto the Said Richard Johnson his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land Situated on the waters of Rocky Creek the Same being the tract of land whereon the Said Austin Johnson now lives beginning at white oak John Blacks North East corner passing East one hundred and eighteen poles to a white oak and walnut standing in a glade James Blackmores corner thence South with his line one hundred and thirty six poles to a Spanish oak his corner thence West one hundred and eighteen poles to a stake thence North with Blacks line one hundred thirty six poles to the beginning, containing by survey one hundred acres of land more or less to have and to hold the said granted bargain premises with the privileges and appurtenances thereof to the said Richard Johnson his heirs and assigns forever and that the said Austin Johnson for my self my heirs Executors administrators and assigns do covenant and with the said Richard Johnson

his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully Seized in title of the premises that they are free from Incumbrances that I have a good right to sell & convey the same to the Said Richard Johnson to hold aforesaid and that I will warrant and defend the same to the said Richard Johnson his heirs & assigns forever against their lawful claims or demands of all persons provided nevertheless that if the said Austin Johnson my heirs executors administrators shall will and hereby pay the sum of two hundred dollars to Richard Johnson guardian as mentioned above then this deed Shall be void otherwise shall remain in full force and virtue in law.  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 13th day of April 1832.

Deed of Mortgage from Austin Johnson to Richard Johnson guardian for the minor children of said Austin for one hundred acres of land was duly acknowledged in open court by the said Austin Johnson & ordered to be registered.
