This day came the plaintiffs by their attorney and filed in open Court the following proceedings had before a Justice of the Peace to wit State of Tennessee Sumner county To any lawful

Officer to Execute and return You are hereby commanded to summon McLin Key to appear before some Justice of the Peace for said County to answer Joseph Miller, William Franklin Excrs. of W. S. & K. Miller in a plea of debt due by account for fourteen dollars 50 cents.  Given under my hand and Seal this 20th April 1843.

You are hereby commanded that of the goods and chattels lands and tenements of Maclin Key if to be found in your county you cause to be made the sum of fourteen dollars 50 cents with Interest from 1st January 1843 and all legal costs to satisfy a Judgment that Joseph Miller & Wm Franklin Exrs. of W.S. & K. Miller recovered against said Key before me on 12th day of May 1843 Given under my hand and Seal this 20th day of May 1843.

levied this Execution May 20th 1843 on One hundred and eighty one acres of land lying in District No 16 Sumner County levied on as the property of Maclin Key bounded on the South by Bingham Key P.W. Key & others.

Whereupon on Motion of the Plaintiff by his attorney it is ordered by the court that said land be condemned and sold for the satisfaction of said Judgment and the costs of this motion and that Venditioni Exponas issue.
