State of Tennessee }   To the Sheriff or any constable of said county
Sumner County       }    You are hereby commanded that of the goods and Chattels land and tenements of Hampton Garrison and B. F. Johnson his stay security if to be found in your county you are cause to be made the sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars Debt with interest from the first day of January 1866, and all legal costs the costs of Judgment, John L. Beason obtained before me on the 7th day of Sept 1865, and pay over as the Law directs.  Given under my hand & seal this the 16th day of Novr. 1865.

No personal property to be found in my county to satisfy this fi fa leveyed this fi fa on a certain tract of land in Civil District No. 17, Sumner County Tennessee as the property of Hampton Garrison said to contain One Hundred and Ninety acres more or less bounded as follows (viz) North by Wm Groves and West by J. T. Roney & South by John Groves & Wesley Garrison.  This Novr 29th 1865 - J. A. Buntin Dpty. Shff.
Thereupon motion of the plaintiff by his attorney it is ordered by the court that said land be condemned and sold  to satisfy the plaintiffs judgment and cost & this Vend. Expos. issue accordingly.

Elizabeth Skeen vs. Hampton Garrison
This day came the Plaintiff by her att. and filed the following proceedings had before a Justice of the Peace.
State of Tennessee   }
Sumner County         }  To Sheriff or any constable of said county
You are hereby commanded that of the goods, chattels, lands and tenements Hampton Garrison if to be found in your county.  You are caused to make the sum of Eighty five dollars & Sixty cents Debt with interest from the 2 day of December, 1865 and all legal cost the amount of Judgment that Elizabeth Skeen obtained before me on the 2 day of December 1865 and all legal costs the amount of Judgment that Elizabeth Skeen obtained before me on the 2 day of December 1865 and when made paid over as the law directs this the 19 day December, 1865.

Sumner County          }   You are hereby commanded to summons Hampton
Garrison to appear before me or some other Justice of the Peace for said County to answer the complaint of Elizabeth Skeen in a plea of debt due by note in a sum under One Hundred Dollars herein paid not.  Given under my hand and seal this Novr 28th 1865.

In this cause I give Judgment against Hampton Garrison in favor of Elizabeth Skeen for Eighty five Dollars and all legal costs for which Execution may issue this the 2nd day of Decr. 1865.

Twelve months of the date as promised to pay Elizabeth Skeen the just and full sum of Sixty Dollars bearing interest from the date for value rec'd of her this 20th of May 1859.
