This cause came on to be had on the apoit. of a jury of Inquest duly summoned by the Sheriff to inquire into the lunacy of one Eli Link who reports as follows:
We do undersigned Jury summoned by the Sheriff before oath do say that they find the Eli Link to be a person of unsound mind and a lunatic and that he is not capable of managing his own affairs, and that his Estate consists of eighty dollars in the hands of George Roberts the Executor under the Will of Wm Link this Sept. 6th 1858, Nelson B. Turner (seal) R. C. Ellis (seal) R. A. Chapman (seal) A. Martin (seal) Benj Johnson (seal) Sam C.? Barr (seal) Wm. A. Sauderdale (seal) Rich'd Winn (seal) Jos. McNeil (seal) V. L. Collins, Jr. (seal) Jos. Kirkpatrick (seal)  James Winchester (seal) which report being ______ to is in all things confirmed by the Court, It is further ordered by the court that Elizabeth Link be appointed his Guardian upon her giving bond of security in the sum of $100.00, and that the Eighty dollars left him by the Will of his Father and now in the hands of the Executor Geo. Roberts be paid over to the said Guardian Elizabeth Link who will account for the same as prescribed by law & thereon the said Elizabeth Link and her security entered into bond as guardian aforesaid in the penal sum of $100.00.
