At the request of Easter Garrett we being Free Holders and unconnected
with her by consanguinity or affinity have on this day proceeded to view
one Bull and while suppose to be two years old not marked on we sold said
Bull at two dollars also 1 dark Bindle heifer supposed to be three years
old marked with a shallow fork in the left ear & crop in the rite as
value her at three dollars the said Easter Garrett resides in Sumner County
and in district No. 9 this 15 day of February 1840.

The said John Clending & John H. Williams came Before me and made oath that the foregoing valuation of two cattle taken up by Easter Garrett is correct to the best of their knowledge and belief this 15 February 1840. T. Kirkpatrick J. P.
This day came Easter Garrett before me and made oath that the cattle taken up by her as strays and described and valued by John Clendenning.
