**Note by Jerry Wilson: Francis Sadler b. c. 1785 and Ruth Taylor b. c. 1788 were married 19 November 1804 in Halifax County, Virginia. William Taylor was on the marriage bond with Francis. Francis and his brothers, Benjamin (c 1780-1875 d. in Simpson Co.,) and Samuel (b. c. 1792-aft 1880 in Pulaski Co.) were all in Pulaski County by 1820. William (c 1791-1875 in Logan Co., ) along with their father Benjamin (1756-1822 in Sumner Co.,) were in Sumner County by 1820. William left Sumner Co 1830-1840 and settled in Logan Co where he died.) The brothers Francis and Benjamin left Pulaski Co and settled in Simpson Co, Francis by 1837 when he appears on the Tax List and Benjamin between 1840-1850 where he is shown on the Census.
