Kathryn Fraser Mackay was born in White Plains, New York, on May 7, 1955 to Donald Alexander Morgan Mackay and Lottie Elizabeth Bohm.

Kathryn's 1979 untimely death due to a small plane crash in Waitsfield, Vermont, came as a great shock and loss to her parents, younger siblings Alastair, Ann, Janet, grandparents Gertrude (nee Rie) Bohm, ... and all her uncles, aunts, cousins and friends around the world. *click on pictures to see obituary and crash article
