Blue Earth City Post (newspaper), May 1, 1875 "Tim Probart, of Grapeland has been spending several days in town this week among old friends. He has not yet fully recovered from the accident he met with in the winter." Grapeland was not a town it was the name of the homestead of O.C. Healy it was located just across the border into Faribault county Minn just south of Mapleton (Blue Earth Co.) Minnesota. A stage route ran through his homestead and became a stop for travelers as well as a post office. He called it Grapeland because of all the wild grapes. The post office became known as Grapeland P.O.

Blue Earth City Post (newspaper), 1875; "T.J. Probart, of Lura, has been in town this week, visiting with friends. Rumore says he has an eye on the chair now filled so ably by Sheriff Davis."

Blue Earth City Post (newspaper), September 8, 1875, "Proceedings of the Republican County Convention, The Republican County Convention to nominate county officers met in Blue Earth City, on Wednesday, Sept. 15th, at one o'clock p.m., for the purpose of nominating a county ticket, and was called to order by D.F. Goodrich, chairman of the central committee...The committee on Credentials reported the following delegates entitled to seats in the convention: Lura - TJ Probart..."
