Fluty, E. E. (Elizabeth Endicott) b. 2-14-1834 d. 12-19-1890 "Wife of Francis Fluty"
I believe this to be incorrect, Francis Fluty's wife was Esther E. Hammond daughter of Peter Hammond, Jr. and Nancy Unknown. Esther was a sister to William Speed Hammond who married Betsy Elizabeth Fluty daughter of Francis Fluty and Elizabeth Endicott (Elizabeth was b. Abt. 1813 in Floyd Co., KY and died September 03, 1859 in Lawrence Co., KY). This Francis was b. Abt. 1812 in Floyd Co., KY and died Bef. 1870.
The Francis Fluty you have listed was the son of the above Francis and Elizabeth Endicott. Frances Fluty (buried at Fluty Lick) was b. abt. 1828 in KY and his wife Esther E. Hammond was b. and died the dates you have listed.
They were the grandparents of Elizabeth Fluty (also buried there) who married my grandfather (2nd) Lewis Wayne Preston on November 11, 1963 in Inez, Martin Co., KY. Lewis was married 1st. to my grandmother, Evaline Bowen a cousin to Elizabeth "Lizzie" Fluty. Lizzie was the daughter of Thomas B. Fluty and Jemima Smith.
My grandmother was the granddaughter of William Speed Hammond and Betsy Elizabeth Fluty.
