Johannus was presented weith a Lutheran Prayer Book by the village of Uetendorf, Co of Caton, when he moved. The Prayer Book is in the possession of Pearl McCarthy of Walnut, Ill at the time of the printing of "The Johannus Wittwer Family", 1981, by Kathleen Whitver Forth.

 

Kathleen mentions a Florence Oaks Wittwer who did a genealogy on the Wittwer family.
