Samuel Henry Perkins homestead

Samuel Henry Perkins homestead, Section 22, Madison Township, Cedar County, Missouri. Left to right: Marion Perkins, wife Ina Hayward, Samuel Henry Perkins, Ina's mother Mrs. A.G. Hayward, Emlou Perkins, Amos Hamby Perkins.

I don't know when the picture was taken. Samuel Henry's wife Martha isn't in the picture, so I presume the picture was taken after her death 16 March 1891. Amos Hamby died 25 February 1905. Samuel Henry died two months later, 28 April 1905.

Front row, from left: SHP's son James Madison (36), James Madison's daughter Ida (8), JMP's son Norman Jacolman (3), Samuel Henry Perkins (59), JMP's son Horace (6), son Amos Hamby's daughter Emlou (10), SHP's wife Martha Hamby Perkins (52), AHP's son Francis Marion (7), son Amos Hamby (34).

All I have of this picture is an old, poor photocopy. My grandfather, Eugene Perkins, may have the original. I do not know from where he obtained this image.
