He married Martha Louise Reed August 15, 1956. Martha was born December 10, 1940. Martha is the daughter of Lewis Willie Reed and Nellie Popham.

Boyd Woodson Goode and Martha Louise Reed had the following children:

3 ii. Brenda Faye Goode was born September 21, 1960.
