1. Lewis Willie¹ Reed was born May 1, 1915. Lewis died November 1987 at 72 years of age.

He married Nellie Popham in Cherokee Co., Georgia, February 23, 1938. Nellie was born in Cherokee Co., Georgia September 1, 1922. Nellie is the daughter of Milton Popham and Nora Mcdougal.

Lewis Willie Reed and Nellie Popham had the following children:

2 i. Martha Louise² Reed was born December 10, 1940. She married Boyd Woodson Goode August 15, 1956. Boyd was born October 15, 1938. (See Boyd Woodson Goode for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. Ruby Jewell Reed was born March 26, 1947.
