He married Lucinda E. Popham in Cherokee Co., Georgia. Lucinda was born in Cherokee Co., Georgia October 18, 1890. Lucinda was the daughter of David E. Popham and Harriet Caldonia "Callie" Emery. Lucinda died July 23, 1973 in Cherokee Co., Georgia, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred August 1, 1973 in Cherokee Co., Georgia.

Willie Cook Mcdougal and Lucinda E. Popham had the following children:

6 iii. Mary Lou Mcdougal was born July 1, 1912. Mary died April 9, 1979 at 66 years of age. She married -Unknown- Henry.

8 v. Joe Johnson Mcdougal was born October 8, 1920. Joe died June 18, 1946 at 25 years of age. His body was interred July 1, 1946 in Cherokee Co., Georgia.
