He married Janice Mary Connahan in Jersey City, Hudson Co., New Jersey, May 22, 1971. Janice was born in Jersey City, Hudson Co., New Jersey September 10, 1946. Janice is the daughter of Matthew Joseph "Poppy" Connahan Sr and Margaret Mary "Bigmom" Barry.

Frank Hoffmann and Janice Mary Connahan had the following children:

2 i. Lori Ann² Hoffmann was born in Parlin, Middlesex Co., New Jersey February 24, 1973. She married Richard Belotti in Sayerville, Middlesex Co., New Jersey, July 29, 2000.

3 ii. Debra Lynn Hoffmann was born in Parlin, Middlesex Co., New Jersey October 1, 1975.

4 iii. Charles Joseph Hoffmann was born in Parlin, Middlesex Co., New Jersey December 24, 1979.
