HISTORY: He was from an old Kentucky family who first came to live around Louisville before moving on to Western Kentucky. They were Scotch-Irish. Moses may have been born in Virginia but his parents were in Pennsylvania first. Moses and Charlotte built a stone house in Livingston County, Kentucky which they named "Stony Lonesome". It still serves as a comfortable dwelling today (1987).
