Rudell NUNN, 94, of Louisville, died Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Westminster Terrace. Born in Crittenden County, Kentucky he was a retired counselor for the Veterans Administration, with 20 years of service, a counselor for Kentucky Employment, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church, Shively Masonic Lodge #951, York Rite and Scottish Rite, a greeter for Kosair Temple, a member of State Retirees and a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Kevil NUNN. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie H. NUNN; son, Billy Joe NUNN of Lynn Haven, Florida; daughter, Sandra NUNN-DRAKE of Maysville, Kentucky; brothers, Roy, Thomas and J. C. NUNN; sisters, Cleo NUNN and Gladys JACKSON; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Westminster Terrace, 2116 Buechel Bank Rd., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Saturday at Westminster Terrace. Arrangements by Owen Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd., a family-owned and operated funeral home centre. Memorial gifts may go to Kosair Charities.

Roy NUNN, 91, of Marion, died Monday, March 8, 2004 at his home. Mr. NUNN was a farmer who worked in the Civil Conservation Corps and was retired from Swift & Co. He is survived by his wife, Edna NUNN of Marion; one daughter, Shirley JENT of Marion; one son, Mike NUNN of Olney, Illinois; two sisters, Cleo NUNN of Metropolis, Illinois, and Gladys JACKSON of Riverside, California; two brothers, Thomas NUNN of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and J. C. NUNN of Danville, Indiana; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His parents were Marshall and Lucy NUNN. He was also preceded in death by three brothers. Services were Wednesday, March 10 at Gilbert Funeral Home, followed by burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
